December 2015

Czarcrest Westies is excited to announce yet another Champion in 2015.  CH Czarcrest's On The Lookout ("Bryce") earned his title at the Western Reserve Kennel Club on December 6th under Judge Judy Webb.  Special thanks to Courtney Kniola and Tony Vacha for all their help with this achievement.  Bryce is the 56th Champion from our small home-centered breeding program.  See the list of all our other Champions from the link on our opening page.

December 2015

Czarcrest Westies is pleased to announce our 55th Champion.  CH Czarcrest's Look My Way ("Darla") finshed her Championship on December 3rd at the Richland County Kennel Club under Judge Fred Bassett.  Thanks to her handler, Courtney Kniola for her excellent care and presentation.

Czarcrest's  Blue Without You ("Pixie") earned her Junior Earthdog title on October 24th at the Gateway Terrier Association Tests at Purina Farms in Gray Summit, Missouri.  PIxie is owned by Susan Chapman and Michele Czarnecki.

BISS CH RATCH Czarcrest's Blue Moon VCD1 RAE OA OAJ AJP OF ME ROM PROM ("Blue") earned his Barn Hunt Champion Title in Lafayette, Indiana.  Blue is owned by Susan Chapman and Michele Czarnecki.

U-AGII U-CDX CH Czarcrest's Cure For The Blues CDX RN GO AXP OJP NPF RATS ("Curtis") earned his first leg in Junior Earthdog on Tuesday, October 6 at the Minnesota Dachshund Club's Harvest Moon Earthdog Tests in Roscoe, Illinois under Judge David Loring Brown.  Curtis earned his second leg for his JE title in the afternoon test under Judge Debby McNamera.

Of course, Curtis was rewarded with another ice cream cone.  That's two in two weeks!

NEW CHAMPION!

CH Czarcrest's TC Four On The Floor ("Nico) finished his Championship with a 3 point Major under judge Linda C. More at Kettle Moraine Kennel Club on June 27, 2015.  Special thanks to Doug Carlson for his grooming and presentation of Nico.  Nico is pictured here winning his first Major at Park Shore Kennel Club under respected judge Peter Green in January 2015.  Nico is owned by Andrea Nelson and Michele Czarnecki.

Czarcrest's Blue Without You ("Pixie") qualified in Intro to Quarry on Sept 6, 2015 at only 8 months old at the Northern Illinois Earthdog Trial in Roscoe, Illinois.  Pixie is owned by Susan Chapman and Michele Czarnecki.

BISS CH Czarcrest's Blue Moon VCD1 RAE OA AJP OF ME ROM PROM RATM CG ("Blue") earned 2 more qualifications toward his Barn Hunt Champion title (3 more to go) and his first 2 legs toward his Coursing Ability title (1 more to go) in Marshall, Michigan.  Not bad for a 12-1/2 year old!

July 2015

U-AGII U-CDX CH Czarcrest's Cure For The Blues CDX GO RN AXP OJP NFP ("Curtis") earned his third leg in Open Jumpers Preferred (OJP) at the Dog Training Club of Champaign-Urbana agility trial on July 18.  Curtis earned a first placement with a perfect score of 100 under Judge Sionag Black.

To celebrate, Curtis got to stop at McDonald's for an ice cream come.  Yummy!

Czarcrest's Hero's Hope RE AX AXJ OF ME EE RATM ("Hope") earned her Master Barn Hunt title in Louisville, Kentucky on July 12, 2015.

On June 20, 2015, CH MACH RATCHX Czarcrest's Bonnie Wee Blue Angel BN VCD1 RAE MXS MJS OF ME CG ("Bean") became the first Westie to earn the Barn Hunt Champion Excellent title.

Once again, the staff at "Active Day Adult Medical Day Care" invited Michele and the Westies at Czarcrest to visit the facility.  Michele gladly accepted the invitation and brought Darla, Jazzy and Bryce on the outing.

A you can see by the photos, a fun time was had by all.  Thank you to the staff (Marie, Maritza, Kevin and Grace) who are all dog lovers, for inviting us.

CH Czarcrest's Cure For The Blues CDX GO RN AXP NJP NFP RATO ("Curtis") earned his second and third leg in Open on April 18 at In Contact's Barn Hunt Trials held in a horse barn in rural Rochester, IL.  Curtis earned a second placement in each trial and earned his RATO title.  Curtis competed in senior the next day and earned his first leg with a first placement.  Needless to say, his owner, Carol Walker, thought this was a terrific way to celebrate her birthday!

U-CDX U-ACH Czarcrest's Carefree Chloe CDX RE OA OAJ MXP MJP OF ("Chloe") celebrates her 14th birthday.  Chloe is owned by Carol and Gordon Walker.

CH Czarcrest's Double With A Twist JE (Tristan") completed his Junior Earthdog title under Jude Pat Price on Saturday, March 28.  The test was held at Canyon RV Park in Southern California by the Sierra Dachshund Breeders Club.  Congratulations to Judy Baird and Tristan!
