Czarcrest Westies congratulates our newest Champion, Czarcrest's Double Latte ("Teyah") pictured here at the San Francisco Bay West Highland White Terrier Club Specialty where she was awarded Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex over Bitch Specials under Judge Margaret Alhino.  Teyah is handled by Mark and Sally George and co-owned by Judy Baird and Michele Czarnecki.

 

 

October 2004

At 19 mos of age, CH Czarcrest's Blue Moon ME ("Blue") earned his Master Earthdog title and the distinction of 2004 Versatile Dog from the West Highland White Terrier Club of America.  Blue was also one of 4 dogs who received an Award of Merit at the West Highland White Terrier Club of America Specialty at the Montgomery County Kennel Club where more than 40 conformation champions competed for Best of Breed.  Congratulation to co-owners Susan Chapman and Michele Czarnecki on Blue's continued accomplishments.

 

 

September 2004

CH Czarcrest's Blue Moon ME ("Blue") wins a Group 3 at the Bloomington Kennel Club Show under renowned Judge Mrs. James Edward Clark.  Blue defeated several other specials in the Breed ring on the way to winning his group placement.  Blue is co-owned by Susan Chapman and Michele Czarnecki.

 

 

September 2004

CH Czarcrest's Blue Moon SE ("Blue") earns his Master Earthdog title at the Greater Twin Cities Sumac Cairn Terrier Club Earthdog Test.  The following day, Blue went on for a "Double Q" (qualifying in both the Senior and Master Earthdog divisions) at the Minnesota Daschund Club Earthdog Test.  Congratulations to co-owner Susan Chapman on handling Blue to these outstanding accomplishments!

Czarcrest's Cute as a Button ("Buttons") finishes her Championship at the Ann Arbor Kennel Club Show.  Buttons earned an amazing FIVE majors on the way to her championship!  Buttons is handled by Mary Beecher and is co-owned by Michele Czarnecki and Joanelle Klumb.

CH Czarcrest's Blue Moon SE ("Blue") earns a qualifying score in the Senior Division at the Wolverine Dachshund Club to finish his Senior Earthdog title.  Blue was handled to his title by co-owner Susan Chapman.

Czarcrest's Blue Moon JE ("Blue") finishes his Championship at the Valparaiso Kennel Club Show under judge Norm Patton.  Blue finished from the bred-by class handled exclusively by Michele Czarnecki.  Blue is co-owned by Susan Chapman.

CH Czarcrest's Marlee O'Brybern ("Marlee") wins Best in Specialty Show at the West Highland White Terrier Club of Northern Illinois Specialty Show under renowned Terrier Judge Lydia Coleman Hutchenson. 

Marlee went on to win a Group 4 in the Terrier Group competition the same day.  Marlee was ranked #1 Westie Bitch for June 2004 ("West Highland White Terrier AKC Top Dogs" using All Breed totals).  Marlee was piloted, as always, to this win and ranking by Jan Parcel.  Marlee's breeders are Michele Czarnecki and Berna Gaul.  Marlee is co-owned by Jan Parcel and Michele Czarnecki.

Czarcrest's Blue Moon JE ("Blue") scores another Sweepstakes win going Best of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes at the West Highland White Terrier Club of Northern Illinois Specialty Show under noted Breeder Judge Randell Dickerson of Texasterra Westies.  Blue was also awarded Reserve Winners Dog from the regular classes at the show.  Congratulations to co-owners Susan Chapman and Michele Czarnecki on another impressive showing by Blue.

Czarcrest's Double Latte ("Teyah") wins one on the west coast for Czarcrest Westies going Best of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes at the Great Western Terrier Association of Southern California Specialty Show.  Teyah was handled in Sweeps by Jeanine Albanese.  Teyah was bred by Judy and Brian Baird and Michele Czarnecki and is co-owned by Judy Baird and Michele Czarnecki.

Czarcrest's Look At Me! ("Emee") becomes Czarcrest's second Champion of 2004, finishing her Championship at the Bushy Run Kennel Club Show on her second birthday.  What a special "birthday present" for Emee's co-owners Deanna and Bob Bassett!  Many thanks to Carolyn Reinders for handling Emee to her Championship, earning three majors along the way including a 5-point major and a Specialty Win.

 Just one day after his Best in Specialty Show win at the West Highland White Terrier Club of Southeast Michigan Specialty Show, CH Czarcrest's Jarred ("Jarred") earns a Group 3 placement at the Progressive Dog Club of Wayne County Show.  What a day for Czarcrest Westies as Czarcrest dogs swept the Breed placements with Czarcrest's Look at Me! ("Emee") going Winners Bitch and Czarcrest's Blue Moon JE ("Blue") going Winners Dog and Best of Winners, earning a Major Win for both Emee and Blue.  Jarred won Best of Breed while CH Czarcrest's Marlee O'Brybern ("Marlee") was chosen Best of Opposite Sex.  Czarcrest Westies extends a special thank you to Judge Elliott B. Weiss for recognizing the quality of these fine Czarcrest Westies.

CH Jarred of Czarcrest ("Jarred") wins Best in Specialty Show at the West Highland White Terrier Club of Southeast Michigan Specialty Show.  Czarcrest Westies would like to extend a special "thank you" to Carolyn Reinders for handling Jarred to this outstanding achievement.

Czarcrest's Blue Moon JE ("Blue") continues his string of outstanding Specialty Sweepstakes appearances by winning Best in Sweepstakes at the West Highland White Terrier Club of Southeast Michigan Specialty Show under long-time breeder judge Karen Lindberg of Craggencroft Kennels.  Blue has been breeder handled to all of his wins and is co-owned by Susan Chapman.

Czarcrest's Blue Moon JE ("Blue") once again wows the Westie World going Best of Winners at the West Highland White Terrier of America Roving Specialty in Maryland from the Bred by Exhibitor class under distinguished breeder judge Barbara Keenan of the famed "Wishing Well" Kennel.  Congratulations to Blue and co-owners Michele Czarnecki and Susan Chapman on this amazing win.

Czarcrest's Blue Moon JE ("Blue") wins Best in Sweepstakes at the Columbia Terrier Association of Maryland Specialty Show.  Blue's Best in Sweepstakes was awarded under long-time breeder judge Alice Shepherd of Paddyhill Kennels.  Blue is pictured with co-owners Michele Czarnecki and Susan Chapman.

Czarcrest's Look At Me! ("Emee") wins a five point major at the Atlanta Kennel Club Show in Georgia on a Specialty weekend.  Emee, expertly handled by Carolyn Reinders, was awarded Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, and Best of Opposite Sex (over two Bitch Specials).  Emee is co-owned by Deanna and Bob Bassett.

Czarcrest's Cute as a Button ("Buttons") wins three majors in her first four shows.  What a fantastic start for this little girl who is one more in a long line of highly successful offspring sired by CH Czarcrest's Mi'Wee Griffin ("Griffin")!  Buttons is pictured here with handler Mary Beecher winning Best of Breed at the Detroit Kennel Club Show.  Buttons' proud co-owner is Joanelle Klumb.

Czarcrest's Blue Moon JE ("Blue") wins Best of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes and Reserve Winners Dog from the Bred by Exhibitor Class at the West Highland White Terrier Club of Indiana Specialty Show in conjunction with the Louisville Kennel Club Show.  Blue is pictured here with co-owners Susan Chapman and Michele Czarnecki.

Czarcrest's Double Helix ("Ben") finishes his Championship with a win at the Fiesta Cluster in Arizona.  Ben follows in the footsteps of his litter brother CH Czarcrest's Double Take ("Taker") who finished his championship in 2003.

CH Czarcrest's Mi'Wee Griffin ("Griffin"), pictured at left, congratulates his son Czarcrest's Blue Moon JE ("Blue") on his Group 2 placement from the Bred-by-Exhibitor class at the Chain O'Lakes Kennel Club Show.  Blue, co-owned by Susan Chapman and handled by Michele Czarnecki, continues the winning traditions carried on by Griffin's offspring.

Czarcrest Westies congratulates CH Czarcrest's Marlee O'Brybern ("Marlee") for being ranked third in the country among Westie Bitches in 2003 and in the top 20 Westies overall.  Watch for Marlee in the group ring in 2004!  Marlee is pictured here following one of her group wins with co-owner Jan Parcel.
